DEBBIE MY WIFE | |
For 25 years she was my wife. For 25 years she was my life.
Her Heavenly Father gave her to me. His blessing through her so easy to see.
A love for children she freely gave. To point them to Jesus so He could save.
On her face always there was a smile. Even if the road traveling was the roughest mile.
When the doctor said "You have cancer today." Debbie's answer was "It'll be okay!"
"Though time may be short and my life slipping away." "Tis my Father's Home I'm headed to stay!"
"The walls of this hospital I'll soon be beyond." "I'm headed Home to those of whom I'm fond."
"Friends and relatives on the Other Side." "On that Golden Street I soon will reside."
"Someday Ricky will join me on that Crystal Seashore." "His love more beautiful and precious than before."
So you see, I know she's waiting to hear, The day Jesus calls out my name loud and clear.
Till that day I'll continue to walk life's road. I'll continue no matter how heavy the load.
Though I'm walking on asphalt, through the Bible I'm told, That precious wife of mine is walking on GOLD!!!!
