A CHRISTIAN COUPLE | |
| We've been together through many a year. We've been together through many a tear. | |
| Sometimes the road traveled was very rough Sometimes to make it we've had to be tough. | |
| We were never promised sunshine each day. We were never promised a rainbow would stay. | |
| Through it all we've strolled hand in hand. Knowing someday we'd see the Promised Land. | |
| At times our days have been filled with pain. Pain that can cause tears to fall like rain. | |
| No matter what tomorrow may bring, As long as we are together we can sing. | |
| Just place one foot in front of the other I want to travel this road with none other. | |
| You are my mate through thick and thin At the end of the day the battle we'll win. | |
| We took a promise to the King of Kings That through this life to each other we'd cling. | |

Whether rich or poor, in sickness and in health, Life's journey with you is worth more than great wealth. | |
| So let's keep on strolling down another mile, I'll keep doing my best to make you smile! | |
